Rev Fr. Anthony Amoako-Attah, OP is a Dominican priest of the Province of St Joseph the Worker. He is the first Ghanaian to be ordained a Dominican priest. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1979 and for over forty years has committed himself to serving the Church in various capacities. Fr Anthony is a Latin scholar and a psychologist.
He assumed responsibility as Pastor of St Mary Catholic Church, Besease, in 2009 and has served in that capacity till date. His experiences over the years in the priesthood and pastoral care have made him an ideal pastor, a man of the people, a spiritual director and a father to the people of St Mary Catholic Church. He is fondly referred to as “Fr. Okese” literally “Big father”.

Fr Gregory Aabaa, OP is a Dominican priest ordained on the 21st of July, 2018. He has since then been working at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Besease as the Associate Pastor. He has a deep analytical and critical attitude to reality that plays out in his well-thought through homilies and interventions at various meetings. He has a strong penchant for working with the youth, being a young man himself. His simplicity of heart, approachable demeanour and his ability to relate well with the Parishioners make him a priest with a heart for all peoples. Fr Gregory is fondly called by most of his parishioners as “Fr. Ketewa” (literally Small Father).
